It also functions as a hydraulic separator (low loss header), ensuring consistent flow rates between the heat source and the installation circuit. Constructed from mild steel with polystyrene foam insulation and a durable leatherette finish, this buffer tank includes an automatic air vent and an integrated neodymium magnet separator on the drain valve to capture metallic debris, enhancing system longevity and performance. The unit features four 1" circuit tapings plus two 1" boiler-side tapings for versatile connection options.
